My name is Brenda Vicenta Chavajay Mendez. I was born the 15th of June in 1997. I live in San Pedro La Laguna, Solola with my parents. My mom keeps the house clean and prepares our food.
I have two brothers and one sister. My brother’s names are Alex Domingo and Juan. My sister’s name is Maribel. I was the third one born. We live in my mom’s house, just my parents and my brothers and sister.
In our free time we go to the lake to swim together or sometimes we go to other villages around the lake like Panajachel, Santiago, Santa Cruz and San Marcos. We also go to church together.
When I am older I want to be a doctor because I want to help the people that are sick and are poor. I want to return to my village and help my community.
