To God Be the Glory - Mrs. Ester Battz
August 15, 2006
To be in Alaska this year was a beautiful gift from God; it was like opening a very one present and finding other lovely gifts inside. Our 2006 visit was specifically to participate in the 10th anniversary of Proyecto Fe. TO GOD BE THE GLORY! We felt both joy and blessings to see so many friends, who in some way, were a part of a previous mission trip to San Pedro. To see those who had come on the first mission group and those from the last produced overflowing emotions in me. How I would like to have shared time with each one of you, but it was impossible. What is certain is that PROYECTO FE has grown. Proyecto Fe is now 10 years old and with many participants who are involved with the ministries in Guatemala. I thank you deeply for your attendance at the celebration and for supporting us so self-sacrificially. I want to first of all thank PROYECTO FE for this trip; Brother Joe LoMonaco, Sister Tonii Miller, and the Pastors of Alaska who permitted us to share the ministry of Proyecto Fe and the Word of God in their churches. I also thank deeply Brother Kent & Sister Lori Kaltenbach and their family and for hosting us during this time. Your hospitality was always overflowing with love; may God repay you. Thank you Brother Max and Sister Mary Bolin for your love and constant interest in us, I appreciate you. I also want to thank all of our friends and brothers in Christ who cared for us in very special ways; enabling us to participate in activities that enriched our trip. Everything that you shared with me confirms that this gift came from God. We are inspired to return to our village with new strength, with new energy, to continue the ministry which has been entrusted us by God. Dear Brothers and Sisters, we will be waiting for you in Guatemala. It is our prayer that God will continue blessing you and speaking clearly to you with regards to your involvement in missions. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, PROYECTO FE. TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Your Sister in Christ, Ester.
