You Will Be Rewarded - Pastor Emilio Battz

August 15, 2006

THANK YOU! I want to give thanks to God for all my
brothers and sisters from Alaska. During our time
Anchorage, my wife Ester, my daughter Linda, and I receive
so many demonstrations of love and appreciation. I will
never be able to describe or forget these experiences.

This is the third time we visited Alaska, but this has been
the best of all the trips. Every person and family, who
spent time with us, looked for a way to do something that
others had not yet done. We had the opportunity to use a
vehicle and we were able to get acquainted with the city of
Anchorage. Thank you to all for providing us a precious
time; to get acquainted with Alaska and to rest from our
work in Guatemala.

Alaska is marvelous! I believe the BEST OF ALASKA and its
people. Alaskans are very human and very noble; the
Christians that we are acquainted with are genuine
Christians. Their lives are a blessing and a great example
for us. We are especially grateful to Tony and Amy
Gobroski for their great and good intention to lend us
their motor home. Unfortunately, the day we were to pick
it up, there was a spark that burned up the motor home and
it was a total loss. May God bless you and may God provide
your family a new motor home.

Thank you to everyone who attempted to understand my very
bad English, and thank you for not laughing at me. I hope
to some day be able to communicate with you in your
language. This is my prayer.

Thank you to my Brothers, the board members of Proyecto Fe,
for inviting us to its 10th Anniversary Celebration and for
paying for our trip. Knowing the price of an airline
ticket, we understand how expensive it is for one to travel
to Alaska from Guatemala; that you do this because you love
us and to show us the love of Christ, which has a price.

May God bless all of you and return to you what you have
given us. Thank you for all the meals you gave us in your
homes. Thank you for this cup of water; “ that whatever
glass of water that we give to one of the least of our
brothers, you gave it to me”, said Jesus. “You will not
lack your reward”. Matthew 10:42. Pastor Emilio Battz
