Insights From Sponsored Children - Fabi & Julli
August 15, 2006
Miss Fabiola “Fabi” Chavajay Cholotio I greet you with all my heart. I am pleased to tell you what sponsorship has done for me. Sponsorship is like bringing love to a child. Proyecto Fe is a blessing for the children at the Colegio Bethel School, both with sponsorship and short term mission trip visits to our school. The children enjoy your visits and you are very nice to them. I would like to share with you what it was before I had a sponsor. My father doesn’t live with my family (my mother, sisters and brother), neither do he give his love to us. I didn’t feel special or loved by anyone other than my family at home. But praises to God, the Lord gave me a very SPECIAL sponsor. “Daddy” Joe sponsored me and made me feel loved & special about five years ago. He gives his Godly love to me and my whole family. He has helped my family and has given me the opportunity to continue my education here in Alaska to learn English. I wanted to tell you this about my life, because there are many children who have this problem (not feeling special & loved) and some are in need of sponsorship. Please help all the children to become sponsored, we need your love. God will bless you very much. I love you and may God shower His blessings on you. With all my love and my affection, Fabiola. Miss Jullissa “Julli” Navichoc Batz Greetings to my dear brothers & sisters in Christ! I am delighted to write you, and to be able to communicate to you, my deepest regards and love. I feel special that I have this opportunity to tell you how Proyecto Fe, through Colegio Bethel School in San Pedro La Laguna, Solola, Guatemala is helping me so much in my life. When “Daddy” Joe sponsored me, it made me feel blessed in every part of my life. I felt like someone, outside my family, loves me and cares about me. From his letters, visits and kind acts, I know how important I am to him. Daddy Joe is helping me to progress in my academic studies and to have opportunities that I never would have received it he didn’t sponsor me. This is all from God, and I praise the Lord. I did not know when Daddy Joe first sponsored me that one day I would be able to come to Alaska for one year to learn about Americans and their culture. Thank you to all the people who love me; to those who allowed me to stay in their homes and/or helped me with any needs. Thanks to these people I am having fun and am able to feel this genuine love. You have blessed me so much and all of you are in my heart. I will be praying for you. God will bless you. With love, Jullissa.
