Home for the Elderly
The foundation for the home for the elderly has been laid
and construction is under way! Thank you to all those who
contributed to this project at the 2005 auction. We will
keep you updated on the progress of the home.

Hurricane Relief
To date, over $34,000.00 has been sent to Guatemala to
build homes, churches, roads, and to provide 165 families
with assistance to rebuild their livelihoods. By the end
of the year, Proyecto Fe expects to expend the final
amounts on proposals to help rebuild communities in
Guatemala. See the website, www.proyectofe.org for more
information. Blessings to those who participated with the
hurricane relief efforts through financial donations,
through mission work, and though much appreciated prayers.
God’s work was made possible in Guatemala through servant’s
hearts!

Mission Trips
This year was a great year for mission trips.
•   The February trip, lead by members of Cornerstone Church
of God, started the season out with a trip to San Pedro.
During this trip a new ministry, "Casa Hogar, Asociación
Hogares Int. para niños", a group home for abused young
girls in Guatemala City, was found and a new associated
ministry for Proyecto Fe was established. We will be
offering sponsorship for these girls on the website this
year.
•   March was the annual youth trip lead by members of Faith
Community Church to San Pedro. This trip was a Spirit lead
trip where 30 of Anchorage’s youth were able to experience
God in a very tangible way, while being servant and helpers
to needy families in San Pedro.
•   April was the first dental oriented trip to San Pedro
where members from ChangePoint Church provided dental
care, construction work & general helping hands to the
people of San Pedro. Three dentists, a nurse, and a few
dental assistants extracted, cleaned & documented dental
needs for the local community.
•   June was a busy time for mission trips. Grace Christian
School had their annual trip and this year they went back
to Monjas to visit an associated ministry, “In The Shadow
of His Wings”, to work on the orphanage’s new home. That
same month, Christ Community Church & Heritage Christian
School lead a family mission trip to San Pedro where they
worked on the Home for the Elderly as did the February,
March & April trips.
•   Please pray for the annual November Grace Christian
School trip. They will be in Guatemala from November 16th
– 26th.

The 2007 mission trips will be scheduled soon. Please
visit the website, www.proyectofe.org, for updated
information.
